Rolfing Structural Integration

Rolfing® Structural Integration has the ability to dramatically and positively alter your posture and physical structure. Rolfing can resolve discomfort, release tension and alleviate pain. Rolfing aims to restore your flexibility, revitalize your energy and leave you feeling more comfortable in your body.

Rolfing is a system of hands-on bodywork that reorganizes your body’s connective tissues, called fascia, that permeate your entire body. Fascia surrounds, supports, and penetrates all of your muscles, bones, nerves, and organs. Rolfing works on this web-like complex of connective tissues to release, realign and balance your whole body.

The Basic Rolfing Series is typically comprised of a series of ten (10) hour-long sessions. Each session focuses on releasing restrictions in particular areas of your body as a means to systematically balance and optimize the structure (shape) and the function (movement) of your entire body.

Rolfing creates more economical and refined patterns of movement that conserve your body’s energy. As a result clients often report significant reductions in chronic stress being replaced by new feelings of revitalization and ease.

NOTE: Rolfing is a hands-on therapy; it is not massage and, although Dan is a licensed massage therapist, he does not offer massage therapy.
